• 2 ozRye
• 1 tspRich Simple Syrup
• ¼ ozMaraschino Liqueur
• 2 dashesAngostura Bitters
• 1 dashAbsinthe
• GarnishLemon peel

How to make a Improved Whiskey Cocktail

1. Add 2 oz Rye, 1 tsp Rich Simple Syrup, ¼ oz Maraschino Liqueur, 2 dashes Angostura Bitters, 1 dash Absinthe to a mixing glass.
2. Fill with ice and stir for 20–30 seconds, until well chilled and properly diluted.
3. Strain into a rocks glass.
4. Garnish with lemon peel.
