Sazerac

A stirred cocktail made with Rye Whiskey, Simple Syrup, Peychaud's Bitters, served in a rocks glass.

How to make a Sazerac

  1. Add 2 oz Rye Whiskey, ½ oz Simple Syrup, 3 dashes Peychaud's Bitters to a mixing glass.
  2. Fill with ice and stir for 20–30 seconds, until well chilled and properly diluted.
  3. Strain into a rocks glass.
  4. Garnish with absinthe rinse, lemon peel (expressed & discarded).
