Ingredients

• 2 ozRye Whiskey
• ½ ozSimple Syrup
• 3 dashesPeychaud's Bitters
• RinseAbsinthe
• GarnishLemon Peel (expressed & discarded)

How to make a Sazerac

1. Rinse a rocks glass with Absinthe, swirl to coat, and discard the excess.
2. Add 2 oz Rye Whiskey, ½ oz Simple Syrup, 3 dashes Peychaud's Bitters to a mixing glass.
3. Fill with ice and stir for 20–30 seconds, until well chilled and properly diluted.
4. Strain into a chilled rocks glass.
5. Garnish with lemon peel (expressed & discarded).
