Whiskey Sour

A shaken cocktail made with Bourbon, Fresh Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup, served in a rocks or coupe glass.

How to make a Whiskey Sour

  1. Add 2 oz Bourbon, ¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice, ¾ oz Simple Syrup, ½ oz Egg White (optional) to a cocktail shaker.
  2. Dry-shake without ice for about 10 seconds to emulsify the egg white and build foam.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice and shake hard for 10–12 seconds, until the tin is frosted and well chilled.
  4. Double-strain into a rocks or coupe glass.
  5. Garnish with angostura bitters.
