Eastern Standard

A shaken cocktail made with Gin, Fresh Lime Juice, Rich Simple Syrup, served in a coupe glass.

Ingredients

How to make a Eastern Standard

  1. Add ⅓ oz Rich Simple Syrup to a cocktail shaker, then 3 Cucumber Slices, 3 Fresh Mint Leaves, and muddle gently — enough to release the oils from the mint and dissolve the sugar, not enough to shred the leaves.
  2. Add 1¾ oz Gin, ½ oz Fresh Lime Juice.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice and shake hard for 10–12 seconds, until the tin is frosted and well chilled.
  4. Double-strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  5. Garnish with cucumber slice.
